In Aflame, we see a new side to Jared and Tate, and their relationship. This novel is (unsurprisingly) angsty, sexy, entertaining, and emotional. After two books, we were back in Tate and Jared’s head and what a way to end the series. Okay wow, so I just realized I never wrote a review for Aflame and my first thought was, “Giselle, how could you do this?!?!” Maybe it’s because I had the biggest book hangover of all time after finishing this book- since it IS the end of the series, but that is no excuse, so here we go.Īflame by Penelope Douglas is the final installment in the Fall Away series and words can not express how irrevocably and unconditionally in-love I am with this series-so yes, tears ensued when I was done with it.
